I'm not quite sure -- probably taking sentence length and maybe word length. It can't be a very complicated algorithm because when I added the prayers and responses for tomorrow's Morning Prayers my rating dropped to JUNIOR HIGH LEVEL!!!
But maybe that means that the prayer book, in spite of its elegant language, is very accessible.
Oh, yes. I think that's a positive way to interpret it. I was wondering, though, if they just made something up, so I tested a few blogs. Peter Leithart's got post-grad level, and George Grant's got undergrad. So maybe it's not too inaccurate after all.
